If you ask any sneakerhead what the best new Three Stripes silhouette of 2019 is, the chances are that they will probably say the adidas ZX Torsion Black Orange! Since its debut earlier this summer, the shoe has released in a ton of ultra vibrant hues. For this release, the German giant is turning things down a notch and we’re loving the understated aesthetic.
Inspired by MA-1 jackets, the ZX Torsion Black Orange features a predominantly black upper with grey and red accents throughout. Crafted from a healthy dose of mesh and leather, a ton of 3M is also present so you can flex your new cop even in the dark. Striking orange takes its place in the sockliner for a pop of contrast, and a military green accent arrives on the foam midsole that actually houses a full length Boost for cushioning that’s next level. This is then infused with adidas’ Torsion tech for support and stability that’s been around since 1989. To round it all off, a Trefoil logo graces the tongue, while Three Stripes run across the lateral and medial side panels, finalising the classic-meets-contemporary look.
Regarded by many as one of the comfiest sneakers of the year, the adidas ZX Torsion Black Orange is scheduled to release on September 13th from a wide range of retailers, so don’t miss out!
