Despite the celebrations of this annual event not happening for some time, the adidas Ultra Boost 4.0 CNY Chinese New Year just went live early via a UK stockist. If you missed the alert via our Twitter page, don’t panic as a wider release is coming soon.
Like previous ‘Chinese New Year’ Ultra Boosts, this pair opts for a multi-coloured upper which predominantly showcases fiery hits of red against grey coloured Primeknit. It’s a homage to the Year Of The Dog with celebrations happening worldwide on 16th February.
The all-new Ultra Boost 4.0 features a slightly thicker textured Primeknit than predecessors. It’s even more comfortable whilst retaining that lifestyle appeal which makes these way more than just a performance runner.
Conventional details feature including a synthetic overlay across the heel as well as a black coloured lace surround. Camo coloured laces are included and a ‘CNY’ motif is stamped to the tongue. To complete the look, a chunky slab of white Boost sits underfoot and a vibrant red outsole delivers sticky traction underfoot.
