ASICS brings the GEL-1130 back in "Sepia Brown Driftwood", with sepia brown running across the engineered mesh base while driftwood tones settle over the patent synthetic leather overlays for a tonal, neutral finish. A sculpted heel counter frames the visible GEL window, and the padded tongue and collar sit above a chunky midsole.

Underfoot, GEL cushioning in the heel combines with responsive foam. The TRUSSTIC System adds structure through the midsole, while segmented rubber on the outsole holds the Y2K retro running lines intact. Cues borrowed from the GEL-KAYANO 14 mark this out as the ninth iteration of the GEL-1000 series. Its palette works with washed denim or wide leg trousers, and a removable insole leaves room for custom orthotics. One to consider for a clean daily rotation.
