ASICS Gel-Kayano 12.1 Dragon Fruit Black

ASICS revisits the Gel-Kayano 12.1 with KITH in "Dragon Fruit Black", a heritage runner shape given a sharper edge. Deep Dragon Fruit pink mesh underlays sit beneath synthetic and leather overlays in silver, with panelling and tiger stripe detailing that draw on Gothic armour. Reworked branding on the tongue marks the update.

Underneath, the GEL-NIMBUS 17 tooling carries FLUIDRIDE cushioning alongside GEL inserts at the rearfoot and forefoot, the visible units picking up the same shade so it reads right through the midsole. Those mesh underlays keep air moving through the layered upper, while rubber covers the outsole. That contrast leads an outfit, and it works with black denim or relaxed cargos. One to consider if your rotation could use more colour.
