ASICS Gel-Lyte 5 Godai Camel Brown

Did you know that “Godai” means “the five elements” in Japanese? These refer to fire, water, earth, the void and wind. The ASICS Gel-Lyte 5, the fifth iteration of the Gel-Lyte line, has a new Godai collection. Presenting the ASICS Gel-Lyte 5 "Godai Camel Brown” references earth.

This Gel-Lyte 5 has a perforated leather base in camel brown. The suede overlays that wrap around the toe and mid-panel sections of the shoe are a light chocolate brown. The Tiger stripes on both sides of the shoe are beige, matching the tongue and the sock liner. The suede eye stay panels and heel panel are both in dark cocoa brown. The off white midsole is made from at least 20% recycled materials and is adorned with a speckled beige accent at the rear. The shoe comes with a special edition coin deubré embossed with the earth element. Rearfoot GEL technology and a beige and off white rubber outsole finish off the whole ensemble.
