Converse has linked up with American animation studio Hanna Barbera for the Converse Chuck Taylor All-Star Hi Tom and Jerry Black. Inspired by everyone’s favourite cat and mouse duo, this playful collaboration is sure to bring you back to your childhood when the cartoon was on TV every single day after school.
Working on a fully blacked out base, pops of colour are injected throughout the canvas upper with multicoloured circles. These are all adorned with head shots of both Tom and Jerry in a clean black and white aesthetic that mimics the traditional line art style. The iconic “Tom and Jerry” logo can also be seen in a blocky and bold font.
Stainless steel eyestays make up the lacing system, and down below, you’ll find the classic rubber Chuck midsole that’s peppered with a series of black dots for a pop art like look. To round it all off, a “Converse All Star” badge graces the heel, finalising the throwback look.
The perfect sneakers for letting out your inner child, the Converse Chuck Taylor All-Star Hi Tom and Jerry Black is available right now over at Converse for a bank account friendly £60, so grab a pair while you still can!
