Brain Dead x Converse Chuck 70 High Egret Brown

The Brain Dead x Converse Chuck 70 High Egret brown is Converse's latest addition to their collaboration list with Kyle Ng's Brain Dead.

The LA-based brand returns in time for the festive season to reveal a very contemporary twist to the Chuck Taylor 70s silhouette. The model features 3 primary sections of the shoes each covered with different cow prints on premium canvas material, the lateral side flaunts a classic black and white print while the tongue tab shows a reversed version of that. The medials then unveil contrasting brown and white stripes similar to Holstein cows often seen in Switzerland and Germany.

The oversized glossy rubber soles on this model have been deconstructed and reworked with a dash of red and navy blue alternating lines all around, while at the same time, capitalized text that reads "Brain Dead" outlines the midsoles repeatedly. The comfortable OrthoLite insoles that fill this Converse shoes ensures maximum comfort for the wearer while supporting the heightened midsoles to provide more stability is what makes this sneaker completely different to the classic Chuck Taylor All Star.

Finalising the duo's collaborative design is Brain Dead's signature head logo stamped on a black rubber material on its medial side while Converse's classic "All Star" logo is patched on the opposite side.
