The Comme des Garcons Play x Converse Chuck Taylor All Star 70 High Bright Blue is part of a brand-new capsule of releases between Rei Kawakubo’s Japanese label and Nike’s sister brand. The duo have been pumping out staple-silhouettes with the instantly recognisable heart motif printed on the side since 2013 and they’re consistently impressive!

The model of choice this time around is the Converse Chuck Taylor 70, a timeless shoe that never goes out of fashion. CDG Play dresses them in a vibrant bright blue colourway and then emblazons the signature heart eyes logo on the lateral side of each sneaker. They’re crafted from durable high-quality canvas and also showcase Converse’s iconic star logo on the medial side.

Underfoot, a clean white midsole houses the uppers and runs through to form the rubber toe box. Cushioning technology is included in the midsole to ensure they’re comfortable over extended periods of wear, while both label’s branding appears on the insoles.
