Carhartt WIP x Converse Fastbreak Pro White

Workwear fashion and skateboarding collide as Carhartt WIP and Converse CONS revisit their limited-edition collection from 2022. Since their first collaboration in 2017, Carhartt and Converse have teamed up on several sneaker capsules inspired by Carhartt’s signature utilitarian design approach. Part of Converse’s exclusive launch lineup in December 2023, the Carhartt Converse Fastbreak Pro “White” reinterprets the ‘80s basketball staple into a contemporary skate shoe.

The Converse CONS x Carhartt WIP collection featured two skate-ready models, the One Star Pro and Fastbreak Pro. Converse introduced the Fastbreak in 1983 as a basketball sneaker, famously worn by the legendary Michael Jordan. Reworked by Carhartt and Converse, this Fastbreak Pro iteration boasts a mixed material construction, featuring a predominantly beige suede upper with a clean white leather panel on the lateral side and canvas on the medial section. A signature Star Chevron logo delivers that old-school look to this ‘80s icon, while co-branded Carhartt and Converse Cons symbols adorn the tongue, sockliner, and lace tips. An embossed Carhartt emblem appears on the heel panel, complemented by a minimalist Converse label. The blacked-out midsole conceals a plush CX cushioning to give you the confidence to perform skateboard tricks. Rounding out the design of this silhouette is the durable gum rubber sole.
