Building upon the already powerful collaboration project between the two brands is the Comme des Garçons PLAY x Converse One Star Low “Black”. While the duo have an impressive history of projects, this is the first time ever that they’ve come together to work on the One Star. The silhouette has been a huge focus for Converse in recent months, having starred in recent collaborations and having seen plenty of great GR releases.
Decked out in a black colourway, the kicks are crafted from suede and canvas across the uppers and showcase classic design elements lifted from the OG sneaker. Notable details include red star logos on the laterals and medials, accompanied by CdG PLAY’s signature heart eyes logo on the laterals only. Dual-branded insoles and white midsole units complete the look.
Launching to the masses on the 28th July, is this a pair that you’ll be looking forward to adding to your sneaker collection?
