Legendary footwear brand Converse is back in 2023 with a vintage-inspired skate shoe. Debuting as an Alexis Sablone collaboration, the AS-1 Pro is here to maximise your skate sessions while getting you in and between spots in style.

Converse signature sneakers are rare. We can recall the Chuck Taylor All-Star as one of the longest-running signature trainers ever. The brand introduces a new signature silhouette, a skate shoe for professional skateboarder, Olympian, and architect Alexis Sablone. The Converse AS-1 Pro seems simple on the outside but has an engineered core setup on the inside. It lets skaters get a better board feel and distribute impact protection with the help of the CX Foam sockliner. Suede makes up the upper, with rubber pods on the forefoot and leather Converse branding on the sides. This colourway features a black suede base with white leather accents on the Converse logos and heel panel. Subtle AS-1 labels adorn the lateral wings, while Alexis Sablone’s logo makes up the tongue. The gum rubber outsole completes this retro-inspired skate shoe.
