Description
If you are on the hunt for an amazing shoe with an equally as amazing backstory, then the Ibn Jasper x Converse Pro Hi White Egret has got your back! A silhouette that was introduced all the way back in 1976, it was discontinued just six years later in 1984, and now, it’s been revived for 2019, allowing both sneakerheads new and old to appreciate the artistry that was this shoe.
Reimagined with the help of Ibn Jasper’s creative input, the Ibn Jasper x Converse Pro Hi White Egret was worn by basketball legends on the court in the ’70s. Painted in an extremely clean cut colourway, the upper is crafted from a white leather, while grey suede mudguards surround the entire upper.
Unlike the OG pair, the traditional lacing system has been replaced with a sleek zip closure. That being said, the eyestays remain so you can still use laces if that’s more your thing. A luxe brass lace locks finalises the look, while gold foil branding and a velvet heel add a premium touch.
Available right now in extremely limited quantities, grab the Ibn Jasper x Converse Pro Hi White Egret while it’s still in stock over at the retailers listed on this page. A shoe that was once worn by the legendary Dr. J, you really don’t want to miss out!
