The New Balance 2010 GORE-TEX "Light Mushroom" brings weatherproofing to one of the brand's newer lifestyle models. Its layered upper pairs nubuck and matte leather overlays with mesh inserts, while a GORE-TEX membrane keeps rain and moisture out. Warm mushroom and khaki tones form the base across the upper, and light olive green picks out the collar, the midsole and the moulded "N" on the sidewall for a muted, earthy finish.

Underfoot, ABZORB cushioning works alongside a Stability Web system, with visible ABZORB pods set into the chunky rubber outsole. The design draws on the bulky runners of the early 2000s, reworked here as a lifestyle trainer for autumn and winter. That restrained palette works with relaxed cargos or dark denim.
