Miu Miu x New Balance 574 White Leather

With what may be the highest retail price ever seen on the New Balance 574, these might sell out more quickly than your standard pair of general release. After the first collaboration between Miu Miu and New Balance went down a hit, the two thought it best to reunite in 2023. Strutting down the runway for Paris Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2023 were three iterations of the 574, a silhouette that has clearly yet to see it all.

The “White Leather” edition is ‘Made in Italy’, which is a rare occurrence even for the likes of New Balance and its high-quality construction. Formed from what Miu Miu itself are calling a “vintage-effect nappa leather”, this pair remains a strong example of when the aged motif has been carefully carried out. The team in Italy has applied the perfect amount of wear to the usual vulnerable areas of the shoe, starting off the patina process for you to carry on. Muted brown laces come threaded on the upper, its thick profile tastefully matching the gum outsole below. Screen printed logos have been added to the tongue and heel, another thoughtful consideration on this intricately crafted edition of the NB 574.
