COMME des GARÇONS HOMME x New Balance 580 Beige

After debuting a string of New Balance collaborations during men’s fashion week, COMME des GARÇONS HOMME unveils its take on the 580. Both of the CdGH x New Balance 580 editions arrive in a simple set of hues typical of the partnership, allowing for the understated colourway to make way for the selection of premium materials.

Similar to the recent “Castlerock” iteration, CdGH drapes the NB 580 with an assortment of softer hues. A pop of New Balance grey is spotted on the back portion of the shoe, as the lighter beige tones outline the panelling towards the front. White laces arrive threaded onto the upper, which in combination with cream mesh establishes a sporty aesthetic. Unlike the Stray Rat or Palace collaborations, this “Beige” edition leaves an entirely different impression, opting for a tasteful make-up that subdues the 580’s chunky silhouette.
