New Balance 9060 Thunder Brown

The New Balance 9060 "Thunder Brown" reworks the 99X blueprint through a warped take on the series' familiar design language. Sway bars, taken from the 990, expand across the upper to create a sense of motion.

Wavy lines and scaled up proportions on the sculpted pod midsole place exaggerated emphasis on the ABZORB and SBS cushioning platforms, echoing the visible tech aesthetic of the Y2K era. This treatment gives 99X elements their own character, while the brown colour direction pairs with denim and wide leg trousers. One to consider for a clean daily rotation.
