New Balance 990v4 Mahogany

Following the launch of the New Balance Made in USA Season 4 collection in October 2023 with olive-clad silhouettes, creative director and Aimé Leon Dore founder Teddy Santis introduces three more pairs draped in vibrant tonal hues synonymous with the autumn season. Headlining the premium Seasonal Collection for FW23, this New Balance 990v4 “Mahogany” shares a stunning colour scheme seemingly inspired by autumn leaves.

Since Teddy Santis took the reigns as creative director of the premium New Balance Made in USA line in 2021, the collection became one of the most highly anticipated drops aside from other brand collaborations. Deviating from the traditional mesh and pigskin suede construction, this modern New Balance 990v4 iteration sports an all-leather upper in a rich mahogany orange hue. White “N” logos on the sides stand out atop the sea of vibrant orange, while a subtle silver “990” branding sits on the lateral rear. Metallic silver accents cover the flag emblem on the tongue and the NB symbol on the heel. Meanwhile, pitch-black shades engulf the inner lining, ENCAP midsole, and rubber outsole to juxtapose the eye-catching upper.
