Aminé x New Balance 992 Outdoor School

The Aminé x New Balance 992 "Outdoor School" draws on Aminé's childhood experiences at Oregon's Outdoor School. Brown pigskin suede with a smooth finish forms the base of the Made in USA upper and stands in for dirt and soil. Patent leather overlays in burgundy and dark maroon add a glossy contrast, calling to mind wood, worms, rocks and foliage.

That interplay of textures celebrates an education that comes from being out in nature firsthand. Personal touches extend to a wood cookie hangtag and tackle box themed packaging. The earthy palette works with washed denim or relaxed cargos. Suede and patent leather carry Aminé's Outdoor School reference throughout the design of the 992.
