The 34-year-old heritage running silhouette of New Balance, the 996, just released a loafer-like “Magnify Warmth” collection. Presenting the New Balance 996 Magnify Warmth Beige.

The most noticeable update to the shoe is the detachable kiltie, a fringed tongue that folds back over the vamp, covering the laces. The entire upper is in neutral Beige, from the mesh tongue and toe box to the plush suede overlays and TPU heel counter. The latter sport perforated designs typically found on traditional brogues. The “N” logos on both sides of the shoe also have a unique execution. The outlines are embossed on the suede quarters. A pure white ENCAP-enhanced midsole and a caramel-coloured gum rubber outsole round out the look of this sneaker.
