Snow Peak x New Balance Niobium Concept 3 White Grey

Japanese outdoor equipment brand Snow Peak reunites with New Balance to unveil the latest chapter in their innovative collaboration. Dropping alongside winter-ready apparel conceptualised by NB’s Tokyo Design Studio, the limited-edition Snow Peak x New Balance Niobium Concept 3 “White Grey” sets the bar high in terms of winter boot functionality, showcasing two layers of modular uppers designed to conquer the rigours of severe weather conditions.

These heavy-duty boots feature a clean white outer shell constructed in eVent, a strong fabric that’s waterproof and breathable. The loops and heel protrusions complement the toggle closure system, allowing you to adjust and modify the fit according to preference. Co-branded labels appear on the rubber toe cap, mudguard, and sockliners to commemorate their fifth collaborative project. The raised heel panel provides maximum support and balance, while the outer sole incorporates the ROLLBAR system from the Japanese cult classic model, the NB MT580, enhanced with a Vibram® XS Trek Evo outsole for a better grip.

Inside the outer shell is a lightweight inner boot crafted in Cordura nylon with water-repelling PRIMALOFT® insulation. The lifestyle-focused upper features predominantly blue abstract graphics inscribed with words from Japanese poet Kenji Miyazawa’s “Ame Nimo Makezu”. Grey suede forms the heel counter, propped up by a textile mudguard and a low-profile rubber sole.
