Teddy Santis’ Aimé Leon Dore reunites with New Balance to unveil a brand-new silhouette donning retro-futuristic elements. The New York-based fashion and lifestyle label has been one of the most prominent partners of the world-renowned sportswear company since 2019, having dropped several collaborations ranging from timeless classics to obscure models. This limited-edition Aimé Leon Dore x New Balance RC56 “Green Volt” celebrates the brand’s running heritage across several eras to form a techy yet old-school aesthetic.

This debut colourway showcases a vibrant green volt accent throughout the open mesh upper, reinforced with grey and silver curvilinear overlays. The signature N-Lock covers the sidewalls similar to the design of other trendy runners like the 1906 and 2002R models, while the patent leather toe cap adds shine to the verdant palette. Co-branded logos adorn the tongue and insole to commemorate the partnership between ALD and NB. The floral symbol on the rear represents the seal of the Borough of Queens as a nod to Aimé Leon Dore’s New York headquarters. A slim foam midsole sits underfoot for low-profile cushioning, propped up by a sturdy midfoot shank plate and durable rubber outsole for stability and traction.
