Keep it locked to this page for everything you need to know about the Nike HyperAdapt 1.0 Habanero. This fiery hot silhouette launches alongside several other styles this February. Taking a bold leap towards contemporary design, self-lacing technology could finally be hitting mainstream.
Just like the creps worn by Marty Mcfly in Back To The Future, the HyperAdapt 1.0 takes all the hard work out of fastening laces. Tying knots becomes a thing of the past as this intuitive shoe actually tightens and loosens at the flick of a switch.
Despite the addition of this ground breaking technology, this sports runner is surprisingly understated. The technology is barely visible with just a small switch along the sidewall which controls both the lacing system and the light in the midsole.
The letters ‘E.A.R.L’ are printed along the tongue as a homage to that innovation. This ‘Habanero’ HyperAdapt 1.0 features a red coloured mesh throughout with black detailing revealed on the underneath. To complete the look, a white midsole sits underfoot and an embroidered Swoosh is stamped to the sidewall.
The Nike HyperAdapt 1.0 Habanero is scheduled to release on 8th February via the retailers listed. Stay tuned for more updates and stockist alerts surrounding this release.
