Nike Air Flight 89 x Stüssy White Pecan

The long-standing collaboration between streetwear legends Stüssy and Nike unveils its next chapter starring the Nike Air Flight 89 Low. This stunning remake of the late ‘80s basketball shoe follows up on Stüssy’s three-pack sustainable Vandal High and Air Penny 2 collabs in 2023. Set to arrive in three colour options, the Stüssy x Nike Air Flight 89 Low “White Pecan” kicks off the joint project with a stunning mocha and snakeskin combination.

The Nike Air Flight 89 was one of the most notable basketball sneakers from Nike’s Flight series, worn by several NBA legends, including Scottie Pippen and Clyde Drexler, among many others. Designed by Tinker Hatfield, this silhouette shares the same tooling as Michael Jordan’s iconic AJ4, making it an ideal alternative for athletes who were afraid to play against the legend in his own signature silhouette. Flaunting a clean white leather construction, offset by faux snakeskin overlays wrapping around either side of the forefoot, Stüssy has stamped its contemporary spin once again. A smooth brown leather swallows the shorter side Swooshs, a shade also used along the plastic eyelets, and Nike Air branding on the rear. Meanwhile, an embroidered Air Stüssy label embellishes the tongue, while a Stüssy No.4 logo adorns the lateral snakeskin panel for an added streetwear flair. The PU midsole and rubber outsole incorporate sail white tones to deliver a pre-aged aesthetic, accented by dark brown shades to cap off the premium reinterpretation of the Stüssy Nike Air Flight.
