The return of the Nike Air Footscape Woven divided fans because of its unconventional design that deviated from the current sneaker trends. The Nike Air Footscape Woven “White Cow” replicates its titular mammal and boasts a faux fur construction in contrasting white and black.

Nike launched the Air Footscape franchise in 1996 as a running shoe engineered by Nike’s Advanced Product Engineering Group and Sport Research Lab. Among the series’ most popular styles is the Air Footscape Woven, a hybrid model inspired by the Air Footscape and Nike Air Woven. This women’s colourway joins the “Cow” rendition to bolster the 2023 lineup. The shoe has a sail white faux fur base filled with black spots akin to cowhide. Criss-cross woven patterns engulf the lower panels of the shoe, complemented by the asymmetrical lacing system to deliver an unconventional design approach embraced by sneakerheads and collectors from the mid-2000s.
