Unconventional yet still familiar, the Billie Eilish x Nike Air Force 1 High Mushroom is a fashion-forward, youthful take on a retro silhouette that’s about to hit 40 in 2022. This pair retains most of the beloved features from Bruce Kilgore’s original 1982 design. The only major tweak is the addition of four velcro straps atop the pair’s classic laces — delivering a snugger fit and subtle edginess to the shoe’s vibe.

Style-wise, Billie Eilish opted for an understated look and gave the shoe’s suede upper a versatile creamy tan colourway. Nods to the collaborative nature of Billie Eilish's Nike AF1 collaboration come in the lace deubré and the sock-liner which features the lyric “it’s hard to stop it once it starts” from the pop icon’s hit song “Billie Bossa Nova”.
