Every once in a while, a three way sneaker collab comes along that changes the game, and that’s where the CLOT x fragment x Nike Air Force 1 Black comes in. Made in partnership with Hong Kong based multi-hyphenate Edison Chen and Japanese visionary design Hiroshi Fujiwara, this is unlike any sneaker that you’ve seen before.
Embroidered with a traditional Chinese pattern that’s a nod to Chen’s heritage, the upper of the CLOT x fragment x Nike Air Force 1 Black is made from a luxurious silk material that’s soft to the touch. Premium full grain leather dresses the Swoosh branding along the sides, while waxed flat laces offer an even more high end look and feel.
While the trio could’ve just left it there, they went one step further to create a shoe that’ll be the topic of discussion many years from now. If you put a naked flame towards the silk, it slowly but surely burns away to reveal and all-red leather upper that’s printed with gold geometric detailing as well as a series of fragment thunderbolts. While this design feature has been done on previous CLOT releases, it’s never been as refined as this.
An Air midsole sits down below for comfort and cushioning that’s unbeatable, and this is lined with a slither of gum rubber for added traction and durability with every step, finalising the opulent aesthetic.
Extremely iconic, the CLOT x fragment x Nike Air Force 1 Black is set to release very soon, so make sure you keep it locked on this page for more info and retailers as it develops!
