NOCTA x Nike Air Force 1 Certified Lover Boy

The Nike Air Force 1 is undeniably the perfect blank canvas for experiments, notably for collaborations. It has surfaced in outfits designed by Virgil Abloh, Travis Scott, and this time, for the first time, the model is appearing in a setup arranged by Canadian rapper Drake. Now restocking in November 2023 after a sold out first drop in the summer, the Drake Air Force 1 "Certified Lover Boy", and here's everything you need to know about the collab!

Drake keeps things simple with this NOCTA AF1: an all-white layout with pebbled leather panels from heel to toe that delivers a premium feel to the retro basketball trainers. The pair is packaged in a limited edition blue tinted Air Force 1 box, with a gold "Love You Forever" written over the AF1 branding in cursive and a "IN ASSOCIATION WITH NOCTA" printed onto the underneath. Popping the lid open you'll find special wrapping paper as well, with mini Swooshes and Nocta's star logo printed on, making sure no stone is left unturned. Also included inside are some spare flat laces and a bag full of letter-themed dubraes, whether you want to spell out your name or send subliminal messages to your ex is completely up to you.

All traditional Nike branding details are still as present as ever on this ensemble, with Nike Swoosh logos midfoot, branded tongue labels, insoles, and heel overlays. However, what sets this apart from the classic Triple White rendition is the AIR spellout on the midsole unit withdrawn for a script style text that reads "Love You Forever". In addition to that, the miniature stars underneath the Drake AF1 have also been replaced with hearts as a nod to Drake's Certified Lover Boy album.
