From concept to collaboration, the John Geiger x Nike Air Force 1 “Misplaced Swoosh” headlines Geiger’s official sneaker project with the Beaverton sportswear powerhouse. This special-edition AF1 draws inspiration from the “Misplaced Checks” in 2015, a custom sneaker that helped Geiger gain popularity before establishing his own brand. This project marks a full-circle moment for Nike and the renowned footwear designer, following their settlement of a trademark infringement lawsuit in 2022 involving the GF-01.

This rendition features a pristine white pebbled leather upper with red and blue faux crocskin, plus faux snakeskin Swooshes on the sidewalls. This striking makeover elevates the ‘82 basketball shoe’s timeless design with JG’s creative genius. The Geiger logo animates the lateral forefoot and lace tips, while additional brand labels adorn the tongue, rear, and sockliner. A hidden Nike Air unit provides adequate comfort, bolstered by a durable rubber cupsole for traction and arch support.
