Lil Yachty takes to his Instagram to showcase another Nike collaboration. After releasing his first Us Force 1 Concrete Boys edition, it was clear that the internet had mixed feelings on his debut. A handful of critics admitted that they thought Yachty had played it too safe, although the artist hit back with the fact that the “White Midnight Navy” was just ‘on some sexy s**t’. Either way, this latest Lil Yachty Us Force 1 “Croc Green” is an interesting change in direction.
Announcing that the quality on the first project was supposed to mimic the quality of the Mike Bibby’s Air Force 1 “Black Red”, it’s obvious Yachty is influenced by the golden era of 2000s AF1s. This Croc Air Force 1 is a nod to the extremely rare and premium Nike Kitchen editions that Mayor and Fat Joe would often show off in collection videos, many of which never saw a public release.
Now this “Croc Green” version is a nod to those exclusive Forces, with the Concrete Boys logo stamped onto the heel in a black thread. The patent leather heel tab is more of the same energy, with a leather gutting speaking to the pair’s premium execution. All this is sat atop a stealthy black midsole, with the logo accents also doused in an equally dark hue.
Little information surrounding the release exists, so there is a strong chance that this pair could be a Friends & Family release. Find out where you can buy the Lil Yachty x Nike Air Force 1 Concrete Boys “Croc Green” by keeping it locked to The Sole Supplier!
