An ode to the Windy City’s storied past and present architecture, Nike taps six Chicago-based streetwear boutiques (Leaders, Notre, RSVP, St. Alfred, SVRN and Succezz) to curate a two-piece “Chicago Pack” featuring two revolutionary Nike sneakers. This Nike Air Force 1 07 “Chicago” narrates the Great Chicago Fire of 1871 story with a vintage-inspired colour palette that also harkens back to the Bulls’ classic uniform colours.

Dropping alongside the Air Max 1 86 “Chicago”, which focuses on the present-day sceneries, this AF1 07 iteration is a time capsule honouring the Great Chicago Fire that showcased the residents’ dedication to rise and build the city back up. This Nike Air Force 1 has a pre-aged sail white leather underlay with cracked leather panels encompassing the toe and eyestay panels. Meanwhile, the foxing represents burnt black shades, and the suede heel tab displays the iconic Nike Air label. The Swoosh and spine arrive in shades of red, while the inner Swoosh is a tribute to the cow, which legends say was responsible for the fire that started in the barn after a lantern was knocked over. Chicago skyline details embellish the tongue and sockliner, infusing the city’s heritage with modernity. Sail white laces and midsole maintain the consistency of vintage aesthetics, while the deep red Air branding and outsole complete the design packed with storytelling.
