Nike Air Force 1 Low Chrome Swoosh Sail

Celebrating its 40th Anniversary in 2022, Nike has been spoiling its Air Force 1 with a whole host of fun iterations. Be it the Colour of the Month Series or Special collaborations with artists such as Drake, each drop has shone a different light on the silhouette, with an infinite number of stories still left to tell. Continuing 2023’s strong release calendar is this “Chrome Swoosh” edition, arriving with a host of new premium touches.

At first, this predominantly sail-upper may appear like the standard uniform but look more closely and that idea is quickly dispelled. The thick rope laces are similar to those seen on the Nike Air Force 1 x Premium Goods “The Sophia”, another drop loaded with quality detailing. The most notable addition is the chrome tip on the Swooshes, a detail we’ve never seen the likes of before. On the heel tab, that chrome motif is again visible, with a silver ball on the dot of the “i” in the script logo. A decorative pattern has been applied to the perforations on the toe box, leaning towards the features normally found on brogues and somewhat similar to the finish on the Peaceminusone x Nike Kwondo 1 “Triple White”.
