Nike unveils a special-edition Air Force 1 honouring the legacy and influence on and off the court of the late Kobe Bryant. The timeless silhouette once saw action on the hardwood floor on the feet of the Black Mamba during his 2002-2003 NBA season when Kobe was a sneaker free agent. Clad in the Los Angeles Lakers jersey colours, the Nike Air Force 1 Low “Lakers Away” unleashes the Mamba Mentality with its striking patterns as a nod to the basketball legend.

Embodying Bean’s tenacity on the floor, this exclusive AF1 features a black leather upper with embossed sheath logos scattered throughout. A light gold Swoosh decorates the sides, outlined with a purple shade to represent the Lakers’ uniforms. The bright accents also animate the woven tongue label, leather heel tab, and “Air” branding on the midsole. Repeated pivot circles and thick star-shaped patterns on the outsole provide excellent traction indoors and outdoors, whilst the 3/4 length Air unit delivers ample cushioning to reduce fatigue when pounding the pavement.
