Nike’s game-changing Bruce Kilgore-designed basketball sneaker has a lot to celebrate on its fortieth birthday. It’s no wonder why this shoe is part of the brand’s festive “We Are Familia” collection. Meet the Nike Air Force 1 We Are Familia.

This AF1 has a deep clay brown upper, canvas for the base and suede for the overlays on the toe box, the eye stay panel and the foxing. Cosily furry chenille signature profile Swooshes in golden yellow stand out on the lateral mid-panels. This same material is used for the Swooshes on the medial side but in bright leaf green. The cracked leather heel tabs are in dark indigo blue creating a contrast with the red Nike branding. The mismatched tongue tabs feature traditional Nike Air branding in blue against a red background on the right shoe while the left shoe is adorned by the “We Are Familia” colourful logo with an embroidered blue border. An all-clay brown sole unit completes the design of this shoe.
