Nike Air Force 1 Low Year Of The Rabbit 2023 Beige

Nike carries on its tradition of creating Chinese New Year-inspired animal packs, this time around focusing on the “Year Of The Rabbit” theme. One iconic silhouette getting a makeover is the Nike Air Force 1 in this “Beige” rendition. With clean colour blocking and extra storytelling features, this is a solid addition to the AF1 line-up.

Nike has certainly not held back with this iteration of the “Year Of The Rabbit”, with initial glances already revealing extra embroidery and fur detailing. The most notable change is the faux-rabbit fur used to decorate the Swoosh and heel tab. Then the eye drifts onto the beige panelling where we can see traditional Chinese symbolling embroidered throughout, along with the occasionally hidden mini-Swoosh. Next are the jade green hits given to the small AF1 and Nike Air Branding, representing the deep spirituality and good health often associated with the colour in Chinese culture. Another key colour that makes it onto the detailing is fire red, located on the top eyelet and embossed Air branding of the midsole, symbolising luck, joy and happiness. The usual laces and tongue have been swapped out for the more premium waxed rope lace and suede tongue, adding to the overall quality of the shoes.
