Nike Air Force 1 Sashiko

If you are an AF1 collector or just looking to pick up a new pair of kicks to spice up your collection, keep reading on as the forthcoming release of the Nike Air Force 1 Sashiko is one of the Swoosh Brand's latest iterations of the timeless basketball sneaker.

Releasing as part of Nike's upcoming Sashiko pack, official images of the iconic silhouette's brand-new version boasts a decorative construction throughout that pays home to Japan's decorative embroidery known as Sashiko which means "little stabs". This way of traditional stitching is commonly used for reinforcement of clothing to increase the durability.

The shoe is seen here draped in colourways of mystic navy, grey and white across panels on the upper while red accents touch the tongue and insoles for a pop of contrast. Nike's signature Swoosh logos across the lateral and medial side panels are present as ever for the classic Nike aesthetic we know and love. Of course, a chunky white midsole unit below houses the uppers concealed with a full-length Nike Air technology to ensure that these are super comfortable for long periods of wear. To round it all off, Japanese motifs embroidered on the heel tab completes the design.
