Nike Air Force 1 Type Black Gum

The Nike Air Force 1 Type Black Gum is the latest in a stream of colourways of the Swoosh’s highly-popular AF1 Type silhouette. The model showcases all the best elements of the classic AF1 that was released back in 1982 and interprets them in a reengineered and modern light.

Seen here in a stealthy-looking blacked-out rendition, the AF1 Type follows a deconstructed aesthetic and is crafted from a blend of supple suede and synthetics. The lateral side is absent of Swoosh branding for a change, with a monochromatic rendition situated on the medial side. The pair are fastened via a Velcro strap that reaches around the heels, while a padded foam tongue allows for extra comfort.

Underfoot, a blacked out rubber midsole unit is accentuated with extra panels, concealing Nike Air technology to ensure these are comfortable steppers. The look is finished with a gum sole, making these a versatile and solid pair.
