Nike Nike Air Force 1 '01 Nightmare

The Nike Air Force 1 '01 "Nightmare" takes its cue from Pinhead, the villain of the horror film Hellraiser, as part of Nike's Halloween lineup. Black leather forms the base of the upper, while Metallic Silver rivets punched across the toe box and side panels mimic nails driven through the leather. Gym Red runs along the seam edges and stitching, adding contrast that reads like cuts.

Beneath the story sits the 2001 mould, whose slimmer toe box and lower profile give the rivets more room to dominate. Gym Red lining also shows through the nail openings. Underfoot, a foam midsole with Nike Air cushioning sits on a rubber outsole with pivot circle traction. Originally a basketball model, the trainer now slots into lifestyle wear, where the restrained base pairs with denim or relaxed cargos. Keep this one in mind for an everyday rotation.
