The NikeLAB Bruin Leather Red is inspired by the original Nike Berlin silhouette. On March 18, 1972, the Nike Bruin, made its debut in Portlands Veterans Memorial Coliseum. This single moment is considered the birth of the Basketball line from Nike. Now, a whopping 43 years later, the story will be re-told is spectacular style, as NikeLab bring back the NikeLab Bruin Leather.
The pair is highlighted in a white and red based colourway. This updated version tries to stay as similar as possible to the original model, but with a few modern updates. The shoe is crafted from a full-grain leather and features cupsoles instead of the original suede upper and autoclave outsole. A bold, red Swoosh is found on the sidewall to make up for the logo-less heel and tongue..
