Off-White resumes its much-anticipated partnership with Nike with an all-new sneaker collaboration, highlighting the late Virgil Abloh’s creative legacy. First revealed during the Swoosh brand’s and VA Securities’ “The Codes c/o Architecture” exhibition at the 2022 Art Basel in Miami, the Off-White x Nike Air Force 1 Low “Sesame” is a contemporary artwork in sneaker form. Expected to debut in Autumn ‘25 via an exclusive event, this highly coveted AF1 Low is just one of the many samples in Virgil’s vast footwear portfolio, a testament to his dedication to redefining streetwear.
This hugely limited colourway flaunts a sesame brown leather upper with a metallic silver Swoosh and oversized zig-zag stitching on the sidewalls. Notable Off-White details, such as the colour-matching zip-ties, orange tag, and medial Nike Inc. branding, remain faithful to VA’s distinctive style code. The exposed foam on the tongue and collar resonates with the silhouette’s deconstructed aesthetic, a unique design element popularised in “The Ten” collection from 2017. The “AIR” and “SHOELACES” quotation marks add more life to this masterpiece. An encapsulated Air unit nestles within the durable rubber cupsole for long-lasting comfort. This iteration arrives in a metallic silver box, similar to the “Brooklyn”, to match the glossy Swooshes.
