Supreme x Nike Air Force 1 Low White
When images of the Supreme x Nike Air Force 1 Low White first leaked at the start of the year, it caused so much commotion within the sneaker industry that it was literally split between two sides. One half thought that the design was "lazy" and "uninspired", while the other half praised the American streetwear giant for going back to basics, which, in a world full of overly designed chunky dad sneakers, is quite rare. Whatever you think of the collaboration, one thing that's for sure is that it's going to sell out within seconds, so make sure you read on to find out everything that you need to know!
Working on the classic "Triple White" colourway that made its initial debut all the way back in the '80s, the White is crafted from panels of premium leather with visible stitching for a sartorial aesthetic. Classic features like the lateral and medial side Swoosh branding and toe box perforations make a return, and if you didn't know any better, you'd probably think that was any old AF1.
With that said, upon further inspection, you'll find a striking Supreme box logo neatly debossed across the heel region - and that's exactly where all the hype is. Other than that, the rest of the shoe is kept pretty much the same, with an Air-infused midsole down below and a stainless steel deubré across the lacing system.
While the Supreme x Nike Air Force 1 Low White is indeed quite controversial, it's quite hard to improve on something that's already perfect, so we think that James Jebbia has got the right idea for this release. Rumoured to be dropping alongside a "Triple Black" pair, make sure you keep your eyes peeled and we'll let you know as soon as more release info and retailers roll in.
