Japanese streetwear icon Nigo expands his Nike portfolio with a Planet of the Apes adaptation of the Air Force 3. After proving that he’s still a force to be reckoned with (pardon the pun), all eyes are set on the future projects between the Swoosh and former-BAPE founder. Donning faux ape fur and other rich textures, the Nigo x Nike Air Force 3 “Baroque Brown Pecan” is certainly a nod to storytelling fans out there. This colourway features thick horsehair fabrics on the vamp and quarter, reinforced with dark brown textured leather overlays for premium tactility. Verdant green accents highlight the plush terrycloth lining, polyurethane rim, and trademark Swoosh on the sidewalls. Co-branded labels adorn the heel panel, complementing the mismatched branding on the tongue. The chunky rubber cupsole houses an encapsulated Air unit for responsive cushioning. Forest graphics animate the sockliners to complete the outdoor motif. This limited-edition sneaker includes an exclusive box with extra laces and accessories.
