The Air Jordan 1 Low LV8D receives a Chinese New Year update with this upcoming “Year of the Rabbit” drop. The rabbit-inspired capsule is gearing up for a strong release thanks to a whole host of classic silhouettes being assembled for the collection. The Air Jordan 1 Low “Year of the Rabbit” is all set for a limited run so it only makes sense for its LV8D cousin to also get the faux-rabbit makeover as well.

The platform midsole is the main change on the LV8D (Nike code for elevated) version of this Air Jordan 1 Low, laying the foundation in its white and pastel green split. A mixture of leather and suede forms the upper, dressed in a playful colour palette that is seen throughout the New Year pack. An orange heel tab and brown suede Swoosh complement the pastel green, adding to the light-hearted vibes that the shoe encompasses. Red is once again present on both the insole and tongue branding, symbolising traditional Chinese values. On the reverse of the tongue lies an illustrated rabbit with the shoe’s unique edition number, which is just like the AJ1 Low pair and is limited to a run of 5000.
