Air Jordan 1 Mid Black Grape

The Air Jordan 1 has seen plenty of colourways dress its construction over the years, and recently its mid-cut version has become the go-to canvas for experimentation. Whilst Jordan 1 High colourways are usually well-guarded by enthusiasts and steeped in cultural references and Jordan history, the Mid's popularity amongst general sneaker fans means that the model offers up endless opportunities when it comes to creating new combinations. One of the most colourful iterations we've seen recently is this Air Jordan 1 Mid "Black Grape", so let's take a closer look at the upcoming sneaker.

While its title only calls out two colours, the "Black Grape" Jordan 1 Mid actually arrives in a colour palette of black, purple and teal. The titualar shades cover the base, toe cap, eyestays and collar, whilst the teal hue is left to dress toebox, heel, ankle flaps and Swoosh. Jordan branding appears in its usual spots: a purple Jumpman logo pops against a black nylon tongue unit, and a black Jordan Wings insignia is stamped on the ankle flap. Finally, a white and teal sole unit brings the "Black Grape" AJ1 Mid colourway to a close.
