First seen way back in 2018's "Homage to Home" Air Jordan 1, the Split effect introduced a new way to colour block the fan-favourite silhouette. Although the effect was shelved after the special-edition release, it seems that split colourways seem to be working their way into the Jordan 1 roster right now, as it's not been long since we saw a black and white split "Homage" colourway. Now, the mid-cut model is set to see another remixed two-toned take, as the Air Jordan 1 Mid Split "Cream/Maroon" has surfaced.
The Split "Cream/Maroon" AJ1 Mid sees the sneaker arrive in a premium tumbled leather, with the outsides sporting maroon overlays atop a cream base, and the insides taking on an inverted effect, with a maroon base and cream overlays instead. The tongues and tabs follow the same theme, whilst cream laces, insoles and a cream and red sole unit is shared across both feet.
