Air Jordan 1 High Shattered Backboard

The Air Jordan 1 High OG "Shattered Backboard" marks the return of one of the most legendary non-OG colourways in the AJ1 lineup, revived to honour Jordan Brand’s 40th anniversary. Inspired by MJ’s glass-shattering dunk during a 1985 exhibition in Italy, this colourway became instant folklore when it first dropped in 2015. Now, it’s back with a refreshed build that keeps the story alive for a new generation of collectors.

This 2025 edition of the Jordan 1 Shattered Backboard swaps out the vibrant orange from the original for a deeper, more mature tone. Smooth leather panels replace the heavily tumbled texture of the OG, offering a cleaner edge grain without compromising quality. A sail white base, bold black overlays, and vibrant orange accents on the collar and heel maintain the unmistakable palette. True to form, it features a bubbled Wings logo that mirrors the '85 tooling and a cracked glass graphic on the insole for a nod to that iconic moment. Underfoot, the durable rubber cupsole and Nike Air cushioning stay true to the AJ1 DNA.

Packaging also gets an upgrade, ditching the classic black-and-red box for one emblazoned with shattered glass detailing.
