Bound to be the hottest sneaker release of the year, this unexpected three-way project merges Hiroshi Fujiwara’s creative masterclass with the Chris Gibbs-led label’s distinctive design ethos, giving the timeless basketball shoe profound storytelling from various perspectives. This high-heat iteration features a sail leather upper with contrasting black shades encompassing the toe, eyestay, and Swoosh to replicate the OG “Black Toe”. FRGMT’s signature blue hue envelops the lower rear section, whilst the “Neutral Grey” ankle panel pays homage to another ‘85 colourway, a fascinating concept created by UN/LA in the 2018 collab. An embossed double lightning bolt logo adorns the lateral foxing, complementing the yellow UN/LA tag and grey Wings emblem to celebrate the historic partnership.
