Drake’s hyped fashion label is primed to release their next collaborative project in the form of the Jordan 12 OVO Black. Given the success of previous releases under the ‘OVO’ collective, this silhouette is guaranteed to fly off shelves.
California based October’s Very Own is a label known for contemporary and on-trend pieces. Founded by artist Drake, it’s also the name of his own record label.
Unlike the 2016 releases, this Jordan 12 opts for a darker shade throughout. As you’d expect, premium suede and synthetic leather covers the upper. It gives that luxurious, refined look while retaining the classic AJ12 aesthetic.
All the original details feature from that stitching which extends across the sidewall while a set of integrated laces includes metal eyelets. The addition of a reflective panel at the forefoot is another unique feature that comes to life when hit with light.
Although the look remains understated, there are subtle cues to this ‘OVO’ collaboration. The brands lettering is stamped on the tongue while that distinctive owl insignia features to the inner sole in gold. Finally, OG Jumpman logos make an appearance throughout.
The Jordan 12 OVO Black is scheduled to release on Saturday 18th February via the retailers listed.
