How do you successfully create a part 2 for a successful part 1? Jordan Brand created a radically different Air Jordan 2 after the wildly successful Air Jordan 1. What was different? First of all, the signature Swooshes disappeared. Secondly, it had a more premium construction. Lastly, the PU midsole offered maximum cushioning. This mid-cut AJ2 has an all-black, all-premium-leather upper from heel to toe. The mid-panels feature a faux lizard skin finish and grey trim that matches the tongues, sock liner and heel clip. Vivid red Wings logos adorn the tongues. The Nike branding on the grey insoles and the embroidered Nike text branding on the grey heel tabs also follow suit. A sail-coloured midsole and a grey, sail and red rubber outsole finish off the entire ensemble.
