Unique yet understated, this shoe features a familiar yet different aesthetic compared to other Jordan 28 silhouettes, and it takes some of Jordan Brand’s classic features and combines them with a clean and modern design.
Unveiled as part of Jordan Brand’s ‘Art of a Champion’ lineup, the Locked and Loaded is inspired by the pair PE Allen wore when he hit one of the most clutch three-pointers in NBA history to send the Miami Heat into OT against the San Antonio Spurs in Game 6 of the 2013 NBA Finals. The pair’s high black shroud features a reflective graphic, while the carbon fibre heel cup and shank plate are adorned with gold speckles.
When zipped down, a white mesh inner bootie with a red Jumpman logo on the tongue is revealed. The folded over shroud is emblazoned with ‘9’ on the right shoe and ‘5’ on the left to represent the 95 points scored by the Heat in the memorable Game 6 victory. This black and gold pair sits on an icy blue outsole.
