Air Jordan 5 OG Black Metallic Reimagined

The iconic Air Jordan 5 is the latest silhouette to join the Reimagined series for the first time as it celebrates its 35th anniversary. First launched to the public in 1990, this Tinker Hatfield-designed basketball shoe is one of the classic styles that headlined an era of bulky, futuristic-looking sneakers that were ahead of its time. Coinciding with the 40th anniversary of the Air Jordan line, this high-heat Air Jordan 5 OG “Black Metallic Reimagined” upgrades the beloved colourway by adding more reflective panels and staying true to the OG shape.

This colourway features a black smooth nubuck upper with a semi-translucent plastic netting on the sidewalls for breathability. The piping emits 3M reflective details, accompanying the bright illumination of the tongue and Nike Air branding on the heel. The padded collars and thick interiors offer superb comfort whilst keeping your feet secure. Red Jumpman logos and lace locks resonate with the Chicago Bulls uniforms.

Landing in a standard AJ5 box with a flip-lid box, you will find an extra set of black flat laces left inside. Now while Jordan himself would rock the Metallic 5s with white laces on court, that might be a step to far for you, in which case you can opt for a low-key option and switch in the black ones instead.
